Day 1- After arriving in Victoria Falls you will be taken to one of the fine hotels located in close proximity to the falls. The arrival times of most flights will allow you to enjoy a full afternoon relaxing and enjoying the town of Victoria Falls.
Days 2-5 - Nehimba Safari Lodge Located in Hwange National Park. You will travel approximately three hours to Hwange National Park where you will be staying at the Nehimba Safari Lodge, (Voted best lodge in Zimbabwe two years running). Hwange is just shy of ten thousand square miles of unfenced African wilderness. It is home to over a hundred species of mammals and four hundred species of birds. Hwange boasts the largest concentration of elephant in all of Africa.
Day 6 – Depart Hwange National Park after breakfast and head for the A’Zambezi Lodge in Victoria Falls arriving around lunch time. During the afternoon we have arranged a cultural experience for your group.
Your guide will take you to a large native Shona village located not for from the lodge. You will have the opportunity to interact with the locals and witness the daily life of the Shona people. You will be taken to meet some of the village elders and visit the local school as well, (if in session). This is an experience that will stay with you and your family for years to come.
Days 7-9 -Leave the A’Zambezi Lodge after breakfast for a two hour drive to Botswana’s Chobe National Park. Here you will stay two nights at the luxurious four star resort, The Chobe Safari Lodge. The Lodge is located on the banks of the Chobe river which is known for its abundance of game visiting the rivers edge. You will enjoy a boat cruise on the river during which you will see hippo, elephant, crocodile and many other species of indigenous African game. After breakfast on the morning of then ninth day you will have the option of a game drive or other activity in Chobe and/return to Victoria Falls. Travel approximately two hours to Victoria Falls.
Day 9 – After arriving in Victoria Falls from Chobe. Spend the afternoon sightseeing, shopping at the outdoor market and many shops located in the falls, and participating in some of the many activities around the falls. You will be transported at days end to The Gorges for the night.
Day 10 – Depart for Johannesburg – Overnight at the Afton Guest House. Enjoy dinner this
evening at one of Johannesburg’s fine restaurants.
Day 11 – Spend day touring Johannesburg prior to departure flight home.
Ten day safari including Chobe, Hwange and Victoria Falls.
